Hey video game people… I’m looking for a fairly chill single player basic tower defence game that plays on a mac…
Not too keen on the Kingdom Rush series (demo’d one and was meh). Back in the Flash era, I was a big fan of GemCraft.
Any suggestions?

@octothorpe the other big one right now is the balloon one... https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bloons-td-6/id1584423325
@octothorpe Tower defense, you say? 😉 (Hope you have System 6!)
@octothorpe How do you feel about pixels? I enjoyed Dungeon Warfare:
@octothorpe Thronefall is nonstandard TD, but still very chill! one of my surprise favorites last year, just found it scrolling through Steam and haven’t heard it mentioned elsewhere! really cool design https://store.steampowered.com/app/2239150/Thronefall/

Has been far too entertaining and nostalgic for me to admit
@jon_alper that looks interesting.
@splendorr @octothorpe +1 it’s good
@AnneOfGreenCables ha! I don’t think I have a System 6, but I do have a 7.1!
@AnneOfGreenCables @octothorpe I played the hell out of that, back in the day.

(Runs on System 6 through 9)
These ones also look interesting, for a newer Mac.

@threatresearch @AnneOfGreenCables I was a huge fan of DD and DD 2.
@octothorpe I mean... it's fine? I would say it's very similar to the Kingdom Rush games, all in all. If you want to try a bit of a different kind of fun, Slay the Spire and Monster Train are both pretty fun & low-pressure
