You have to wonder about people who look at processes that functionally exclude people with dependents, any parents who are likely to be older, or people with any life sort of life circumstances that might prevent dropping whatever they're doing to do an arbitrary amount of arbitrary work and somehow conclude that this is an unfortunate but avoidable byproduct of the process, and not the process doing _exactly_ what the organizations turning that crank intend.
