@owa Apple’s press releases sure make it clear what they think about the DMA, but boy, your language is even more one-sided, myopic and self-congratulatory. No matter your stance, and no matter how much Apple likes our money, it’s a complex issue!
@lensco, we had a significant number of volunteers who worked around the clock with very long hours over the last 4 weeks. It’s really important to acknowledge that work. The open letter was really just the surface. Not quite sure what part you think is one sided, if you can go into detail, we might be able to address your concerns.
@owa Your open letter was good – I signed it as well. But maybe it had zero to do with Apple's reversal?
You say Apple wants to destroy web apps, yet they added features for it every year?
You claim they wanted to do this in secret to deceive people, yet that's how they’ve operated for 30 years?
You continue to minimize or neglect the actual security concerns that need to be addressed, and the amount of actual work that this change needs.
It’s good to be critical, but this reads as desperate.
