I know a lot of people have already summed up their 2024 in gaming at the beginning of December, but I follow the American football rule "It's over when it's over". My main platform for gaming is #Xbox same for consoles and PC, top game is ☢️ #Fallout4 (bought GOTY 4 years ago, worth every cent)

#Fallout S1E1: about as expected. Very well executed, oodles of fanservice (not the anime kind), plenty of cheerful gore, and plot holes you could walk a mature Deathclaw through.
Side thought: if modern video content is going to have such a hard to hear voice track, the least modern video players could do is make it way easier to turn subtitles on/off. Gimme a fucking gesture for that please!
