I've been working on this the past few days--a kit called "Owls," manufactured by Design Works Crafts & designed by Marianne Savage. It's a bit of a bet between me & Husband that the directions for finishing this & 2 other kits will look nothing like when I use #CrossQuilting for a #CrossStitch #FinishingTechnique. I propose a new hashtag for #CrossStitchers to follow! #FantasticCrossStitchTools or #FantasticCrossStitchToolsAndWhereToFindThem . (Yes, kind of a shameless take on J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts series. But better! Because it has to do with #CrossStitch!)

So, this is to share all our favorite tools & where we found them so others can search them out & enjoy them too. If it's been gifted, it's okay to share it too, but each share has to include where you got it.

I've upgraded my embroidery floss storage. I'm now using a 3-ring-binder with 35mm slide holders to store my floss, on stitchbow spools. The trapper keeper is for my spare floss. The zipper binder is for my project and project floss. #crossstitch #organization #trapperkeeper

Oh, hello there, you found me...or did I find you?

It's just me, Fi. That really annoying woman from Scotland that talks way too much then shuts down because everything is overwhelming.

So yeah, about me - Fi, Scottish, carer for my child, cat lady. Disabled thanks to arthritis, fibromyalgia and some unknown thing thats under constant investigation until the docs decide whats going on - or if my body just hates me (it probably does, I don't blame it).

I spend most of my time looking after the cats (fat cat and skinny cat), the child and totally neglecting myself. When I'm not doing caring duties, I'm stitching, gaming or sleeping...although every now and then I venture outside into the real world and it reminds me I don't like it.

I'm mostly found online early morning, usually half dead from lunchtime. Although now and then I will lurk and randomly set up a new account just before bedtime...like now, so hi 😁

It’s July! it’s not too early to talk about #FallFinishAlong Year 2! We kicked off last year and it was a fun way to get motivated to finish projects that have been languishing! Open to any crafters of any kind - #knitting, #crochet, #quilting, #sewing, #crossstitch, anything you can think of where you might have WIPs you want to finish.
