Does anyone know the best way to render to a #YouTube-compatible file from audio plus a single still image?
I see this done all the time, but my two attempts so far have been larger than the original FLAC audio file (and I don't need lossless or even super-great quality; it's a cassette recording of a radio broadcast).
I'm using #kdenlive, and I'm now on my 3rd attempt (custom settings, with the video rate set to zero k), but I can see the encoding artifacts changing as I play it back -- so it's still doing a video instead of a still photo.
(I think this one may end up being reasonably small, so may be usable -- but it's also taking forever, and I have to think it's the video encoding which is taking most of the CPU cycles.)
