Hello, internet! A bit about me:
I play saxophones, making music under my own name and in collaboration with other improvisers. I publish work sporadically via Other Ghosts, a small personal label.
I work in private practice as a manual therapist, specializing in Visceral Manipulation. I am interested in connecting with other radically-oriented healthcare practitioners (alternative or otherwise).
I publish a seasonal newsletter via my manual therapy practice, which is usually about 30% professional, 10% political, and 60% literary commentary. People seem to like it.
Sometimes I make time for street photography (35mm & 6x7) and poetry.
I have contributed to various collective/communal/anti-authoritarian projects over the years, all of which could be considered broadly as oriented toward the flourishing of resilient, autonomous, creative, radical communities.
I live in Oakland, California, with significant bits of my life spent in Los Angeles, Seattle, and the Chicago area.
I tend to post about politics and art. I never had Twitter, so I'm still learning how to engage on here.
Links for all of the above are in my profile.
