When we throw up our hands and say none of it matters, we're doing the fascists’ work for them. They don't need to hide their corruption if they can convince us it's pointless to look. They don't need to silence truth-tellers if we've already decided truth is meaningless.

As I posted in the blog comments, I can't imagine being in a position to not care about what is going on in politics. I'm documenting the Trump administration's actions on @wikipedia so future generations (or extraterrestrials) can see where and why things went wrong.

It might be helpful actually to see this as a defense mechanism. The brain realizing it just cannot consider that reality without being destroyed, so it "doesn't care."

The trouble is, I have no idea how one changes things such that all that documentation can be put to effective use. I don't want to sit around and just hope for heroes, yet we're so far gone that no normal tactic seems to apply,
I'll fully admit, I'm too naturally anxious to fight on the front lines myself. But I want to help, if I knew what helping the actual change happen looked like beyond "donate money and hope it's neither a scam nor puts you on a list".
