EXACTLY this. Every line of code is a liability! Why would you use a machine to create lines of code At Scale and not... find a way to write less code? How is this not obvious to everyone who has ever maintained code before?
@eamon To be fair I just observed someone use an AI code generation tool to write something where there is boilerplate, and it seemed reasonable because it was a _one-off_ thing. But yeah, doing that on an ongoing basis seems bad.
