@gruber @jsnell The second time ~ATM blew me away was font smoothing (anti-aliasing). Maybe TrueType was first, I'm not sure.

@forceofhabit @jsnell I remember first seeing *good* live anti-aliasing on screen and feeling like I was seeing the future. I also recall that it required a beefy Mac to render it fast!
