I still feel the same about this today as I did when it came out…it’s not quite Marquee Moon, and it certainly has a different, kind of mellower sound. And it’s a *little* more conventional.
But all that said, it’s a pretty great album, and certainly essential listening. And this new Rhino release is the best it’s sounded.

It’s sounds insane. All of the Rhino audiophiles sound great!
. . . and "A Dream's Dream" is pretty close to their best song. But not quite.
@TheVinylApe Yeah, I featured Marquee Moon when it came out - Rhino Hi-Fi has done a great job with all this stuff (although my pressing of The Cars was defective, and they took so long to reply to my support request, they didn't have any more replacements; fortunately, when I noticed they weren't replying, I bought a second one).
