Just BTW - in the 80's, scientists developed an alternative to vasectomy. A small metal valve could be placed in the vas deferens that could be opened or closed by passing a magnet over it. Men could turn their fertility off and on. Trouble was - it was randomly effected every time you walked through an airport metal detector - making it a baby making lottery.
