Point your eyes to the sky tomorrow morning to see Mars and Mercury in conjunction, rising in the dawn glow.
A conjunction is when two celestial bodies temporarily appear close in the sky. The term “appear” is used because they’re actually many millions of kilometres apart.
The celestial bodies will appear to be only 0.2° apart – for comparison, the Moon appears 0.5° in diameter.
