@octothorpe Another data point for Visible. I was on Verizon for long long time, switched to Visible back in August, it's worked well for me. They often have promos (The plus plan is currently $35/mo including taxes & fees; I think I’ve seen lower but not positive).
Unlimited, with some speed restrictions mostly not relevant to me, though tethering is slower than I'd like (but haven't actually needed it). Not as good international pricing as T-mobile. No family plans. Video streaming is 720p.
@andrewabernathy 720p is better than 480p. I wonder though… how are they enforcing that? If I’m on a VPN, are they able to do deep packet inspection? Is this just for netflix or literally any video file served anywhere? I don’t seem to find that info anywhere.
*if they’re doing deep packet inspection through a VPN tunnel, we’re all kinda fucked… that means they can look at all traffic unencrypted.
