Today is Canadian Thanksgiving and I'm thankful the living hostages have been released and finally, after nearly two years of this terrible war, the people of the region can begin to rebuild and hopefully see lasting peace.
@serge As much as I’d like to believe it’s true, I’m not fooling myself into thinking that lasting peace is on the horizon. There needs to be a de-radicalization of so many people in that region. Until that happens, there’s no path to genuine #peace. #Israel #MiddleEast
When I was a child, around maybe four of five years old and, I was in a mall. I told the children there waiting to sit on the mall Santa's lap that Santa wasn't real, he was just something that their parents had made up, and that this mall Santa also wasn't real.
In my little child brain thought I was providing social value by telling them "the truth", but in actuality I was just making them sad.
The key here is that I was a small child.
You see an post where someone who has suffered tremendously from the war (even though I'm not in the region) and you come onto my feed and decide to shit on it.
I don't know how old you are, but I'll assume you're not four or five.
